Connect Meta through AdKit
Authorize the Business Portfolio, ad account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, and dataset/pixel.
AdKit connection verifiedThe proposed Facebook + Instagram workflow
Your team supplies approved content and business rules. A custom Hermes planning skill pack turns those facts into a proposed campaign. After approval, AdKit creates a paused Meta draft. You inspect and publish it; Meta delivers it; Hermes brings the next evidence-based decision back to you.
Watch the flow · 28 seconds
This short walkthrough shows the complete pilot loop: your team supplies the content, Hermes proposes the decisions, AdKit builds a paused draft, you publish, and the next decision is based on results.
First · setup once
This setup is completed once, then maintained. It prevents Hermes from guessing which products are profitable, which claims are approved, or how much it may propose spending.
The outcome is a written operating policy, verified measurement, and two separated Hermes profiles: one that can read, and one that can only create paused drafts after approval.
Authorize the Business Portfolio, ad account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, and dataset/pixel.
AdKit connection verifiedConfirm that website events, purchases or leads, URLs, and store totals can be reconciled.
Tracking baselineEligible products, margins, stock, countries, approved claims, exclusions, targets, and stop rules.
Decision policyNew AdKit connections are publish-capable by default. Set analyst to Read-only and operator to Draft only, then test the block.
Protected accessThe decision system
AdKit is the connector, not the strategist. A custom Hermes skill pack combines your approved business facts with live read-only evidence, follows a fixed decision procedure, and produces a plan for human approval.
Changing numbers stay in structured data. The skill contains the planning method and output contract.
Hermes must show the inputs used, missing evidence, uncertainty, and the reason for every proposed setting.
Then · repeat for every campaign
Every stage has an owner and a concrete output. If information is missing, the workflow stops and asks for it instead of silently filling the gap.
You provide the finished image or video, product page, offer, approved claims, target market, content rights, and any campaign deadline. Hermes does not create or alter the master content without permission.
Hermes checks format, aspect ratio, rights, claims, destination URL, product stock, margin, eligible market, conversion tracking, and relevant campaign history. It returns either ready or a specific list of fixes.
The plan names the objective, campaign structure, audience hypothesis and exclusions, Facebook/Instagram placements, copy, CTA, URL, tracking, schedule, daily and total budget, primary metric, evaluation window, stop rule, and rollback.
Your approver sees the creative, audience, placements, dates, destination, budget ceiling, evidence, and stop rule. Approval is tied to that version; a changed budget or stale account state requires a new approval.
Only after approval, the operator rechecks the live account and creates the campaign, ad set, and ads in a paused state through the restricted AdKit MCP connection. It returns Meta IDs, a preview, and a change receipt. No delivery or spend begins.
Your approver opens the draft in Meta Ads Manager, checks it against the decision brief, and clicks Publish. Meta reviews the ads and, if accepted, enters them into its auction across the approved Facebook and Instagram placements. Meta—not Hermes—serves the ads and charges the account.
After launch, Hermes verifies status, links, tracking, budget, market, creative pairing, policy issues, and initial delivery. It then reads settled performance data, alerts on exceptions, and recommends keep, stop, scale, or test. Every change returns to Step 04.
What “build the ad” means
Meta Ads has a hierarchy. The campaign defines the business result, the ad set controls delivery, and the ad is what customers see.
A concrete illustration
This example explains the format, not a recommendation for your account. Real values will come from your products, economics, markets, and baseline data.
Instead of asking Hermes to “run ads,” your team supplies a small, complete pack.
Approval creates permission to build this paused draft only. It does not authorize Hermes to publish it, change other campaigns, or exceed the signed cap.
How your team runs it
Hermes performs the repetitive account reading, campaign preparation, and reporting. Your team stays responsible for content, business judgment, and the final spending decision.
Add the asset, product link, offer, rights, and any deadline.
Check the objective, audience logic, placements, budget, dates, and decision rule.
Nothing proceeds until the named approver accepts the exact version.
During the pilot, open Ads Manager, compare the draft with the brief, and publish it.
Read Hermes’s evidence and approve keep, stop, scale, or another controlled test.
Clear ownership
The system reduces repetitive ad operations. It does not remove commercial judgment, creative ownership, Meta’s delivery role, or legal responsibility.
The safety contract
The analyst can read and recommend. The operator can prepare an approved paused draft. Human approval and publishing form the money boundary. These limits are enforced with account permissions, allowlisted tools, policy checks, and logs—not just written in a prompt.
Facebook + Instagram · Paused draft only
30-day implementation
Thirty days can validate safety, workflow quality, and time saved. Reliable profitability conclusions may require more data, depending on sales volume and conversion lag.
Connect Meta through AdKit, reduce access, verify events, document rules, set caps, and name the approver.
Hermes reports and proposes only. Every metric, ID, and recommendation is checked against its source.
Approved requests become paused Meta drafts. Your team inspects and publishes each one manually.
Run the complete weekly loop, review safety and usefulness, then decide whether any narrow automation is warranted.
What we need from you
Until these are supplied, campaign examples remain illustrative. The build should never invent missing economics, access, policy, or budget decisions.
Website, operating countries, primary goal, offers, and named approver.
Prices, margins, stock, returns, priorities, and any products that must be excluded.
Business Portfolio, ad account, Page, Instagram account, dataset, campaign history, and permission owner.
Images, videos, usage rights, claims, offers, destinations, and brand guidance.
Total budget ceiling, campaign caps, target outcome, stop rules, and response owner.
Common questions
After your team approves a campaign plan, Hermes creates a paused draft in Meta Ads Manager. A named approver compares that draft with the plan and clicks Publish. Meta then reviews the ad and, if eligible, starts delivery within the approved settings and budget.
No. AdKit supplies the read-only and draft-building connection. The custom Hermes skill pack—led by the campaign planner—recommends those settings from your approved business policy, current data, and experiment history. A hard validator checks the plan, and your team approves the exact product, audience rules, placements, dates, and maximum spend.
Hermes flags the issue and prepares an evidence-based recommendation. Unless a separately approved emergency rule exists, it does not silently change or pause the campaign. The next action—keep, stop, scale, or test—returns through the same approval path.
Yes, during the pilot. Your approver uses Ads Manager to inspect and publish paused drafts. Most campaign preparation and reporting happen through the workflow, so the team should not need to manually build each campaign from scratch.
No. It can replace much of the repetitive reporting, preparation, drafting, checking, and documentation. It cannot guarantee demand, creative quality, offer strength, tracking quality, or profitability. A specialist remains useful for major strategy changes, complex measurement, regulated categories, or when nobody internally can own approvals.
